Adult Formation Committee
Our Adult Education committee works to plan adult education on Sunday mornings, our Lenten program, Advent programs, and special education events.

Education for Ministry (EfM)
EfM is a four-year program held nine months per year designed to enable lay people to grow in faith and in a sense of ministry through a study of Christian scripture and tradition, theological reflection and the support of a close spiritual community. EfM allows one to explore more deeply the Christian faith, studying the Old and New Testament, Church history and theology while reflecting on connecting faith with life experience. Each group is facilitated by one or two mentors, who look after the life of the group and guide the reflective process.

Weekday Bible Study is offered at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Parish Hall following the noon service.

Inquirers’ Class
This class serves two purposes. First, it is for anyone who would like to know more about the Episcopal Church. Second, it serves as a requirement for any adult who wants to become an Episcopalian through baptism, confirmation, or reception. This class meets for seven weeks on Tuesday nights, starting October 5, from 7- 8:30 p.m.

Lenten Series
On Wednesday nights during Lent, our series of classes enriches our faith in preparation for Easter. A simple supper is followed by a Lenten lecture program.

Newcomers & Inquirers
Are you new to the parish? Are you curious about why we do what we do during worship? Would you like to become more involved in the life of the parish? Then join us every Sunday immediately following the 8:45 service in the choir loft (around the organ) for a four -part discussion centering around welcome, worship, and work. Each Sunday we focus on a different theme, so join us each week!

Parish Library
Our parish library is housed in our Parish Hall and in room 201. You can check out any of the books that you find on our shelves for your own enjoyment, enrichment and theological exploration. If you have recommendations for books or journals, or donations, please call our librarian.

Tract Rack
Our Tract Rack is located just inside the red doors of our church. These little booklets are for you to take home. A donation is requested, but if you don’t have the means at the time, please feel free to help yourself. There are a wide variety of tracts, all of which are well written and thoughtful. We hope you will use this resource in your daily devotions, spiritual journey, or just to consider questions you’ve always wanted to explore.

Wednesday Night Bible Study
This bible study will be lectionary based (that is, we will read the Lessons that will be used in the upcoming Sunday Worship). This will be an open group and will begin at 6:30 and conclude at 8:00 p.m. This bible study will be taught primarily by the rector.

Sunday Adult Classes
A variety of classes taught by clergy and parishioners are held in the Parish Hall at 10:00 a.m. Please feel free to drop in on any one of interest to you.
