Rite of Reconciliation: For those wishing to make formal confession during Holy Week along the Rite outlined in the BCP, please contact either The Rev. Benno Pattison or The Rev. Dr. Sharon Hiers to schedule an appointment.

3/25—Palm Sunday: The narrative account of Jesus’s last days is read at the morning services. Gather at the point (outside by our sign at East Lake Road).

3/27—Pub Theology: On 4th Tuesdays, Brennan Breed facilitates a discussion at The Marlay in Decatur at 7 p.m. Thought-provoking, accessible articles, essays and texts will be chosen to stimulate lively discussion.

3/28—Tenebrae (Latin for shadows) is a contemplative service recalling the Passion of the Christ in music, verse and light. Join us at 7 p.m. Click the RSVP button at epiphany.org to sign up for a reading. Childcare provided. Note: Wednesday evening Bible Study will not take place this week.

3/29—Maundy Thursday “Agape Supper,” begins at 6:15 p.m. with foot washing and liturgy immediately following. Sign up in the gallery and indicate if you want fish by Palm Sunday so there will be enough for all. No charge, but donations welcome. Childcare provided.

3/30—Quiet Night - Stay Awake with Me: All are welcome to come anytime from 9 p.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday to keep vigil in prayer, meditation or scripture reading. Stay for as long or short of a time as you wish. There is no need to sign up.

3/30—Good Friday Services — 12 p.m., 5:30 p.m. (family friendly) & 7 p.m. Childcare provided at 6:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross at 11:30 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. The Good Friday Offering goes to the Episcopal Church in Jerusalem. Note “Good Friday” in the memo field.

3/31—Holy Saturday Workday from 10 a.m.—12 p.m. includes helping Guilds prepare the Nave for Easter and making crafts for Easter.


Easter Sunday

Join us for the Great Vigil of Easter at 6 a.m. to begin our Easter celebration. There will be incense at this service. Remember to bring bells to ring and plan to stay afterwards for champagne and strawberries.

Easter Sunday liturgies are at 8:45 & 11:15 a.m. At 8:45 a.m., children will join the procession to flower the cross during the opening hymn. Please bring a flower from home.

Easter Breakfast from 9:45-11 a.m. Parishioners are invited to bring table ready breakfast dishes to share, such as fruit, sweets, casseroles and other savories. Parish Life will provide biscuits with jams and jellies. No charge/donations welcome. Sign up in the gallery. Please include a card stating the name of the dish and any dietary/allergen comments (i.e., meat, dairy, gluten, nut ingredients).

4/1—Easter Egg Hunt: Gather your children in church following the early service. for directions and we will dismiss for the egg hunt from there. Please bring your own baskets. Eggs will be empty and children will trade them in for a goody bag in the courtyard after the hunt.
