WORSHIP SCHEDULE

The heart of our parish life is worship and sharing in the Eucharist which feeds us spiritually as a community. Our liturgies center around The Book of Common Prayer, 1979, and we use the new Revised Common Lectionary.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

Rite II Holy Eucharist

8:45 a.m. & 11:15 a.m. (10:00 a.m. Summer: Memorial Day to Labor Day)

The Rite II liturgy is sung at both the morning services. We honor the traditions of Anglican worship through our music, sung liturgy, and the occasional use of incense (most typically on feast days). The beautiful architecture and colorful stained glass windows of the church combine with the extraordinary voices of the Epiphany Choir and the enveloping chords of our amazing Bedient organ to add depth and texture to the liturgy.

Children's Chapel takes place during the 8:45 service (see below) and during the 10 a.m. Summer Service.

Church in the Meadow

4:00 p.m. 4th Sundays

Come to the meadow and hang out under the sky, feel the chorus of the elements, and give voice to creation as we celebrate Holy Eucharist outside. Come as you are, bring a blanket or chair. Service will be held rain or shine.

OTHER SERVICES DURING THE WEEK

Tuesday Mornings at 7:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist/Morning Prayer

Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 7 a.m. on 1st Tuesdays. Morning Prayer takes places the rest of the month. The Men’s Breakfast Group gathers for breakfast and discussion afterwards and are typically on their way by 8 a.m.

Wednesday Noonday Prayer at 12 p.m. and Holy Eucharist at 12:15 p.m.

The service includes a healing service with laying on of hands and anointing for healing for those who wish for that sacrament.

CHILDREN AND WORSHIP

Children are always welcome during worship. If you prefer, nursery care is available for children ages 4 and under on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Children’s chapel is offered during the 8:45 a.m. service. Children and parents participate together in the opening liturgy, readings and hymns. Children then follow the cross out after the reading of the Gospel for an age-appropriate service that involves songs, prayers, and stories. They return to church to participate in the Eucharist. Chapel is designed for children approximately 3-6 years-old. Younger children are welcome to come with a parent.
