STEWARDSHIP

A pledge is a promise between ourselves and God to return what He has so generously given to us. Because it is a known amount, contributions in the form of a pledge help us make informed budget decisions on our operating expenses and our commitments to our ministries and programs.

Our stewardship theme this year is: Seeking Shalom was inspired by our Adult Formation series from this past spring. We were struck by how Shalom goes far beyond the simple idea of “peace.” It points to God’s boundless love for the whole cosmos—including all the people and—processes and structures with whom we might disagree—and our call to embody that same love of God—to bring Shalom to “every nook and cranny.”

Yet, none of the significant problems facing our communities can be solved from a distance. So, joining God in the work of Shalom requires risking proximity—getting close to the problems—drawing near in service, and living generously as a parish community—becoming more fully who God calls us to be—individually and collectively.

As we contemplate Seeking Shalom together during this Stewardship season, we invite you to prayerfully consider in what ways you will be willing to seek and share Shalom in 2026 by pledging your time, talents, and yes—your treasures in 2026. We collectively use our many gifts and acts of service in carrying out our mission every day. We gather in fellowship to learn and grow together, celebrate life’s milestones, and lift each other up in times of need. All of this requires resources. Our operating budget each year depends on pledges received—and that determines what ministries can be supported.

Thank you for your love for our Epiphany community. And thank you for sharing your resources to further our mission!

SHARING YOUR TIME & TALENT

While the act of making a pledge, is how you share your treasure, we also want to recognize and encourage those of you who also pledge your time and talent.

Please take a moment to let the committee, and your parish leaders, know of the ways in which you either already give of your time and talent, or the new areas and ways in which you plan do so in the coming year.

e.g., handywork/home repair, gardening, cooking, shopping, flower arranging, craft-making, caregiving, prayers, singing, musical instrument, organizing, office work, etc.)

Thank you for pledge your time and/or talents!
